Prospective applicants for the Graduate School Credit Exchange Program (for courses held in the fall 2018 semester at other institutions) are advised to note the following: in accordance with the Credit Exchange Program Agreement, the Graduate School of Korea University has now released application procedure details for each partner institution participating in the Fall 2018 Graduate School Credit Exchange Program. The details are viewable as attached files on the KU Web Portal and the Graduate School’s website. Prospective applicants are advised to take note of and meet the key deadlines for the course registration process of each partner institution.

* The Web portal and Graduate School website will be updated continuously as course registration information is received from partner institutions. For inquiries about individual courses, applicants should contact the partner institutions’ departments offering the courses. 

Who can apply?
- Graduate students enrolled in the fall 2018 semester (except those at the stage of degree candidacy)
- First year students may apply once their student ID numbers are issued

What should applicants submit?
- Credit Exchange Application Form: Applicants should read the notice from each partner institution (uploaded as attached files) available on the KU Web Portal and the Graduate School’s website.

When and where should the form be submitted?
- WHERE: Graduate School Administration Office (Room 127, Graduate School Library)
- WHEN: Before 3 p.m. on the final date of each partner institution’s application period 

How should applicants complete the form?
- Applicants should (1) fill in the application form and (2) have it signed or stamped by their academic advisor and then the department head before submitting it to the Graduate School Administration Office.
- The Credit Exchange Program applies only for courses held by the graduate school of each partner institution that are recognized as related to the applicant’s field by the applicant’s department. The Credit Exchange Program does not apply to special graduate schools.
- Applicants are advised that Yonsei University offers a fixed list of courses open to Credit Exchange Students.

5. To withdraw an application after course registration, applicants must submit the Course Registration Cancellation Form to the Graduate School Administration Office by August 23 (Thu). Applicants should ensure that the form is signed or stamped by their academic advisor and department head.

6. Credit Transfer: Up to three (3) credits are transferrable each semester
       Credits earned at partner institutions will be registered automatically upon receipt of the student’s tran
       * Applicants should note that the maximum number of credits that can be earned via the Credit Exchange Program is six (6) for Master’s Degree programs and twelve (12) for doctoral (Ph.D.) programs.
